Statement of Faith

We believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Trinity). We believe that Jesus Christ became flesh to reveal God to humanity and to become the Savior of the lost world.

We believe that all people were created in the image of God to have fellowship with Him but became alienated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, people are incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through their own efforts.

We believe it is out of undeserved love and grace that God sent His only son, Jesus, to establish His Kingdom

on earth and save us from sin. God reconciled us to Himself through Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection.

It is by grace we are saved through faith in Jesus. (Ephesians 2:8).

We believe the first response to the grace of God is being obedient to the command Jesus gave the church in his great commission (Matthew 28: 19-20). We see this pattern in the church when they asked those who put their faith in Jesus to “Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:38).  When we choose to put our faith in Jesus Christ; confession, repentance, and baptism

are essential steps to having a relationship with Him.

We believe the church is people who give their allegiances to God and His Kingdom on earth.

They choose to live for Christ and not for themselves.

They do this by leaving their sin behind, being obedient to God's Word (the Bible), and joining His work in the world He created.

We believe the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God and that men were moved by the Spirit of God to write the very

words of Scripture. Therefore, we believe the Bible is without error, and the guide to living out our best life.
