PRAY FOR…
Monday- Safe travels and a safe week serving.
Tuesday- Making all airline connections and pray against jet lag as they start their time serving. Pray for group bonding, patience, positive attitudes, and against nervousness while serving in a new place. Pray for God appointed connections and bravery to respond to these opportunities.
Wednesday- The weather to cooperate and for energy/endurance while serving. Pray for the team’s first day of service. Half the team will be doing an evangelistic outreach to primarily an elderly neighborhood. Most of the individuals do not know the Lord. The team will be sharing personal testimonies, singing songs, and praying for those that are willing. The church community that our team will be working with have been ministering to this specific area and several are open to the Gospel. Pray for receptive ears and hearts. The other half of the team will be serving directly with Ukrainian Refugees. They will be participating in a food distribution line, offloading a number of supplies, and compiling and handing out resource packets. The two teams will then meet later to do a prayer walk around the city.
Friday- Friday the team will “divide and conquer.” Half the team will be going to a school to teach English classes, give a Bible lesson, and play games with the children. The population of the school is made up of Polish and Ukrainian children, and one Afghan child. The other half of the team will be going back to serve at the Ukrainian Food Distribution site.
Saturday- Pray for the worship conference that will be occurring. Pray that individuals will meet with our Almighty God and that they will be filled spiritually, but also learn much through the breakouts, speakers, and worship times. Some of the team will be attending the conference while others will be learning about Jewish history that is so prevalent in Poland. The whole team will be attending the conference that evening, and then helping to breakdown after it is over.
Sunday- Chad will be preaching and possible testimonies will be given from the team. Chad will also be presenting at a leadership breakout session that afternoon.
Monday- The team will travel to visit the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum
Tuesday- The team will spend their last day in Warsaw.
Wednesday- The team will travel back to the United States.
Pray for life-change in the individuals that the team meets and for those serving on this mission opportunity.
Pray for faith growth and for individuals to be stretched in their faith journey.
Pray for strength and endurance as well as the health and safety of the team.
Pray for the language barrier that will exist for Polish, Ukrainian, and English speakers.
Pray for our translators and those leading our team as well as the team that we will be serving with.
(David and Sandy Hatfield are the two leaders that visited JC3)
Pray for those on our team who will be giving testimonies or leading devotions. For some, this is the first time they have done this.
Pray that God will continue to use this week as a ripple effect in the days, months, and even years to come.
