HELP BUILD HOPE 2026

Saturday,  AUGUST 22

In August of 2026, JC3 is teaming up with CrossRoads Missions to bring a powerful

Help Build Hope experience to our church!

At this hands-on event, participants will come together to build the interior and exterior walls of a home that will be donated to a family impacted by Hurricane Helene.

This is a tangible way to make a lasting difference—one wall at a time.

But it doesn’t stop there.

After the event, JC3 will send a mission team, in September of 2026, to take these walls and help continue the home on-site, serving a family directly affected by the storm.

  • YES!  We will have skilled individuals come the day prior to the event to cut to size every board and to attach special "vinyls" to the materials that direct build-day volunteers where to place the lumber.  There will be a team leader for every 8-10 people to direct the process.  So, if you can swing a hammer YOU CAN participate!  From 5 to 85, we love having kids and adults working together to do something pretty special for a much deserved family in need!  (Still have questions, contact Chad; chad@jeffcitychurch.com)

  • Our tithes and mission budget will be covering the cost of this event- to give everyone an opportunity to participate!  Help Build Hope will have merchandise (T-shirts, Hats, etc.) to help support the ministry if you would like to purchase any of these items.

  • If you plan to build, a pair of work gloves is suggested, but not required.  You will be swinging a hammer and potentially carrying 2x4s.

  • No.  All materials will be cut to size and organized prior to build day.  Help Build Hope will supply all tools needed to assemble the walls.  It is encouraged not to bring any personal tools; however, if you have a favorite hammer, please know that you are responsible for its whereabouts throughout the event.

  • Work clothes are suggested.  Layers are also advised.

  • Breakfast will be served starting at 8am.  There will also be some snacks available throughout the build.

  • Elementary School-aged children are encouraged to participate; however, there will be no childcare provided for younger or additional children.  All children must be accompanied by a capable adult.
