Some incredible Outreach in 2015!
It's been an outstanding year so far as various outreach ministries have continued and new ones have begun.
United Way holds banquet at JCCC
Around 190 members of the Jefferson County business community joined together at JCCC to raise money for our local United Way. Robin Wilhoit of WBIR Channel 10 and Dr. Jack Lacey, Chief Medical Officer at UT Medical Center, spoke to the crowd and even tweeted out pics of the event! UW of Jeff County raised over $7000 that night to kick off their annual fundraising!
AccessLife Expo a record-breaking success!
What an awesome event! Over 900 participants and families came out for this fun-filled day for those living with special needs and their caregivers. JCCC is always honored to join with AccessLife for this event. Can't wait to do it again next year! Big thanks to Leslie Hohl for spearheading JCCC's involvement with this great event. Vacation Bible School DESTROYS their Missions Goal!
June 2015 - JCCC has been honored to support the Rescue Ministries and their work with an orphange in Cebu, Philippines and the ministry of Phil and Michelle Parker in Thailand. This year, when JCCC KidsWay asked how the VBS mission goal can support Rescue Ministries and the Parkers, they asked for money to help buy all of the children a Bible. We challenged the JCCC kids to raise $300. They ended up raising just over $1000! What an awesome gift they gave the kids of Cebu! Check out VBS highlights by clicking here.
